Every now and then Cybertruck owners and enthusiasts perform interesting tests on the unconventional triangle-shaped EV pickup truck by Tesla (TSLA).
Drifting with a large vehicle such as a Cybertruck is a wild idea but not for someone who’s ready to push adrenaline to the next level and has the necessary experience with the vehicle.
Kyle Conner from the Out of Spec YouTube channel took his Tri-Motor Cyberbeast Cybertruck to a snowy surface to test it for drifting like a tuner car. Interestingly, the Cyberbeast created perfect donuts with its circular drifts.

Because the Cyberbeast variant of the Cybertruck has 3 motors, its maneuverability is much more flexible than the Dual-Motor AWD and Single-Motor RWD variants.
The front axle of the Cybertruck has an AC permanent magnet synchronous motor, liquid-cooled with a variable frequency drive. The rear axle has two AC induction motors, which are liquid-cooled and have variable frequency drives.
Tesla’s Cyberbeast can independently control each of the three motors that results in enhanced traction and control of the vehicle by maintaining an accurate slip differential.
On the other hand, Kyle has owned the Cyberbeast for more than 6 months and has driven it extensively on off-road terrains as well (video below). The Cybertruck and Model Y come with a specially tuned Off-Road Assist Mode feature — Tesla’s proprietary off-road handling software built in-house by the automaker.
