Tesla (TSLA) started rolling out the newest version of its FSD (Supervised) v13.2.6 to the Cybertruck fleet in the US & Canada on Friday. Over the weekend, Cybertruck owners who received the over-the-air (OTA) update got a chance to test the new FSD software.
The tech and AI automaker listed the improvements it has pushed to the Cybertruck FSD with the v13.2.6 update. Tesla also shared a list of the upcoming features and improvements to the Cybertruck in the next OTA updates currently in development.
Most of the improvements Tesla listed in the Cybertruck FSD v13.2.6 Release Notes (read below) were already pushed to HW4/AI4 vehicles in the FSD v13.2.2 update before Christmas.
Cybertruck is still missing features like ‘autonomous park, unpark, and reverse parking‘ and ‘audio input signals‘ in this update as they’re listed under the Upcoming revisions. These features have been around for months in the HW4/AI4 vehicles for months but due to the Cybertruck’s dimensions and size, the Tesla Vision AI needs to adjust to them for better performance.
However, the Cybertruck FSD features are gradually getting on par with other HW4 Tesla cars.
In the upcoming updates, Tesla will be increasing the AI Vision data model size and its context length scaling by 3x. This is going to massively increase AI learning for autonomous decision-making and result in an even smoother ride experience for human occupants.
