Cybertruck takes Monaco Hairpin turn with ease using 4-wheel steering, steals attention from ultra-luxury cars

Fairmont Hairpin Curve is a popular tourist destination in  Monte Carlo, Monaco — and what better place is to show off your matte black-wrapped Cybertruck to the world?

Not just the looks, the Tesla Cybertruck also navigated the Monaco Hairpin turn very smoothly despite its size and weight. The turn taken by the Cybertruck looks effortless — thanks to the 4-wheel steering capability.

Tesla introduced steer-by-wire for the first time in Cybertruck. Both front and back wheel turning is controlled using steer-by-wire and the automaker’s proprietary software technology.

This is the place where you can find almost any kind of luxury car. Interestingly, a Rolls Royce was following the Cybertruck on the famous hairpin turn and the person making the video totally ignored it.

Tesla Cybertruck has a unique presence due to its angular design. Coupled with a matte black exterior wrap, the Cybertruck stands out in the crowd even further. This was the reason in the following video that the Rolls Royce lost its presence on the road behind the unorthodox electric pickup truck.

The difficulty level of this specific hairpin turn can be imagined by watching the Formula 1 Monaco Grand Prix (video below). The F1 cars are the slowest at this turn. Even the most professional drivers in the most advanced racing cars take this hairpin turn with caution.

This turn is similar to the Karussell at Nürburgring. In 2021 a prototype Tesla Model S Plaid crashed near this hairpin turn (not exactly at it). However, within the next few weeks, another Model S Plaid set a new EV lap record at the Nürburgring racing track in Germany.

Cybertruck wraps have been a thing even before the deliveries to customers started last year. Tesla officially wrapped the Cybertruck in various patterns such as blue pixel, camouflage, a Toyota Tundra, and Ford F-150, etc.

Tesla’s Chief Designer Franz von Holzhausen was also spotted with a Matte Black-wrapped Cybertruck last year before the delivery event. Earlier this year, Tesla launched official wraps for the Cybertruck in 11 different colors to satisfy its customers

Tesla shipped a few Cybertrucks to Europe last month for display and testing purposes. One of these trucks is wrapped in matte black color that we saw in the video above from Monaco.

Another aerial picture of the same Cybertruck was posted in the same discussion thread on X. In the following picture, the Cybertruck is surrounded by luxury and sports cars like Ferrari, Jaguars, and a Koenigsegg Jesko parked in front of it. But the people can be seen turning their heads and taking pictures of the Cybertruck — the most unique and modern vehicle among all these ultra-expensive cars.
